Groups with Alerts Creation Rights

Only SharePoint site administrators have ability to create alert subscriptions by default. But they can provide other users with a right of alert creation.

In order to do this, site administrator should use “Modify Shared Web Part” and roll down to groups block. Then it is required to check groups of SharePoint users who will be able to create alert subscriptions. Click “OK” or “Apply” to save the settings.

Note: selected groups will see only self-created alert subscriptions. Alerts created by other users will not available for them.
