Tag list must be related to a SharePoint list. Users will be able to select tags and create new ones (if it is allowed). To adjust the relation between tag list and another list, go to the required list page. Go to “Settings” menu and click “Create Column”.
Type the title of tag field and select “Tag field” type of column. This type is available after Virto Tag Cloud Web Part installation. Now define whether to allow users to add new tags to the list or they will be able to select only from existing items. Then select the list (Tag List) created before. Tags will be taken from this list. It is also possible to create new tag list and relate it to the current one. Now click “OK” to save the settings.
