Firstly, can I say that I think the calendar web part is superb. However, I'm having a problem with getting the data sources to work properly.

I have a calendar in my top site, displaying calendar items from its own site correctly. When I add a sub site's calendar as a new data sources, I have set the columns to show correctly, but calendar dates do not show up in my top level calendar.

I've removed this a couple of times and readded it, but I have had no success. I've probably done something stupid, but for the life of me, I cannot think what it is.

Everything else is great...

Thanks in advance

Derrick

Dear Alex,
I removed the space from the names of the datasources, and it now appears to work perfectly.
(I had rebooted the server too, just in case. It looks like the "old reboot does the trick" is still the
best method!)

Thanks for your help!

Cheers

How do you set the columns for sub-site data source?

Could you attach screenshot with data source settings?

Do you use any filters for data source?

Alex,

many thanks for your prompt response. I have no filters set on the links.

Data from neither of these two sub-calendars appears in the top level one.
I look forward to your reply.

Regards

Derrick

Could you set the field for end date field?

Alex,
Just done that now. Still no success though, I am afraid to say.
Time to go to work for me though now. Will carry on testing with this later.

Thanks
