We have  released Virto Ajax Calendar 1.5 –  the new version of a web part for Microsoft SharePoint with additional features for effective calendar planning and management.

The core new features of the version provide significantly improved visualization of the calendar elements. Among them – displaying the completion percentage of the calendar elements on the Gantt Chart and more flexible color coding of the events. While in the previous versions the color of the events could be adjusted at the data source level only, in Virto Ajax Calendar 1.5 users can choose the color of an event to be displayed in his calendar depending on the value of some event’s parameter, for example, its priority or resources.

Task Percent Completion Bar 

You can now  display percent completion for your events. It is usually applied for lists of Tasks type. The completion status will be displayed in the Tasks view (Days or Hours). In order to adjust percent completion view, select field from which the percent value will be taken. On this step you can also define the height of percent completion bar and select appropriate color.

Color Coding List Items According to Types 

Now you can code with colod not only items related to different data sources, but also items of the same data source but having different types (state, priority etc.). You can display items of different categories from the list with different colors. In this case you have to define field of categorization  and select colors for each of values.
